About Us
We are Dave and Chantal Thomson; a 24-years-married couple residing in rural Milton, Ontario. In the last few years we’ve both been struck by the positive effects that “living at home” has had on our community’s elderly. After many conversations, we decided to start a company whereby we could assist others in their twilight years, to stay in the comfort of their homes for as long as possible. The result was that in October 2024 we co-founded HomeQuest.
Who We Are
CHANTAL THOMSON
I’ve been a flight attendant for 27yrs now. Previously to that I worked in a bank for 15yrs (and both for 6yrs). Nearing the end of my career, I was searching for a purpose in life that would allow me to “give back” and make me feel that I can make a difference in someone’s life. During a period while my parents were aging, I came across several people that, although not ready to move into a retirement home, were alone or needed extra help. I believe that the HomeQuest business concept will be my way of giving back, with a hope to extend our client’s stay in their own home, with their memories and comfort.
DAVE THOMSON
I started with a construction company that allowed me to learn many valuable trade practices over those 6 years. I then joined an automotive buying group as a sales representative, servicing over 200 automotive dealerships in Ontario. Over those 14 years I learned how an automotive dealership operates and found an opportunity to do things differently. As a result SilentQuest Inc. was born.
After a successful 23 years I decided to retire in 2024, and it gave me the space I needed to think about and begin HomeQuest.

- Fully insured to be in homes and drive our clients to appointments
- Completed the Halton Police (VSC) Vulnerable Sector Check
- First-aid and CPR certificates
We are an elder in-home care provider, servicing the Milton, Georgetown, Acton and Rockwood areas in Halton Region, Ontario Canada.
